Okunoshima to Seoul

Day 15 - 6th April 2026

Today we woke up early and decided to go spend some more time with the rabbits before leaving, as we still had food to use and the bunnies were more active at that time. We got out of our room and found some bunnies and i tried puddling again with the rabbits, this time having more rabbits that the day before, before we continued feeding a couple other ones we saw around.

After that we gravbed our hotel buffet breakfast again, took our luggage and headed to the port so we could reach the mainland once again. Just as we arrived we saw the small pedestrian pink boat arrive at the dock and were able to board with all of our stuff. We walked to the bunny ferry shop where i asked the shop attendant if she could call us a taxi, which she called for Antoinesang and would come in 30 minutes.

We enjoyed some icecream until the taxi arrive and after struggling to store all the luggage in the trunk, we got in and drove straight to the airport. Unfortunately it turns out we were 2 hrs early for checkin and had to wait for the desk to open, but it gave us time to realise we were overweight on our luggage and force me to repack all of our luggage in the middle of the airport to make it fit.

After checking in and going through security, we waited by the gate whilst building some of our lego cherry blossoms. We then boarded our flight where we slept most of the way until we reached Seoul.

There we went through customs without a hitch, but one of our luggae just wouldnt come out, until every single other one had, when it finally came out, with a giant beeping yellow machine telling us to go get it inspected. As we got it inspected they checked it because of the box of silicone full of flowers and told us we shouldnt be bringing meat treats for hazel into korea, but they would let us go this time.

After finally being free we met Ji´s sister who brought us to her car and drove us into the city, where we saw more cherry blossoms than we had seen in Japan! We reached Ji´s mom’s house and dropped our luggage before going back out to eat dinner.

We walked about 20 minutes to go to a jiimdak restaurant making the same dish Ji makes at home that i really like (but Ji makes it better) we then went to get some bingsu to try that too which was very nice but it wasnt the right weather for bingsu.

Finally we headed home where we spent the rest of the evening repacking our luggage, making sure we could bring everything on board without hitting any limits.
