Day 3 – Seoul – Hanbok

25th March 2026

Today for lunch we went to a Korean barbecue place, where, I had the best Korean barbecue of my life, it was so much food, but everything was really tasty. it was great but I felt so full for the next 3 days!

After lunch, we decided to go visit the Imperial Palace, where we had to dress in traditional clothes in order to get in for free at the palace. so we went to a hanbook shop, where Ji chose the dress she wanted to wear, and the staff told me what to wear, because men dont get a say. After dressing up we walked out of the shop and went straight to the palace, surrounded by other tourists doing the same thing as us.

As we entered the palace we were greeted by a sign telling us that today only, the entrance was free, even without an hanbok, however we managed to get some beautiful photos around the palace before heading back to return our hanboks. After this we walked through the city some more, hoping to find some daltons but were unable to find any so instead we got some more Yakwaas, and got back on the metro for our trip home on the packed Korean metro.
