Day 4 – Seoul – N Seoul Tower

26th March 2026

Today I started off the day strong with Yakwas for breakfast, before heading out to the city, where we went to a local market to grab lunch, there we were able to get a lunch box, which we could fill with foods from the different market stalls, allowing us to try a little bit of everything, from dumplings to tteoboki and fried chicken.

After lunch, we walked around the city to our activity, a mother of pearl decorating class, where we were shown how to decorate our pieces, by choosing some of the precut pieces and gluing them to the wood. we spent 2 hours choosing our elements and gluing it together to make our artwork, before continuing our day.

Next we walked to the old city, where we got to see some of the old traditional houses, whilst enjoying some orange juice on one of the rooftops. we then continued our journey, towards the N Seoul tower, taking the metro and then a bus to reach the bottom of the tower, going up to go to the rotating restaurant at the top.

There we got to enjoy our dinner whilst going around the city, seeing the sun set slowly and night falling on Seoul, doing on full rotation in an hour and a half. We enjoyed our 7 course meal, before going up to the observatory to take some more photos.

To go home, we decided to walk down the hill, and tried to take a shortcut but miscalculated and had to walk down the mountain through a forest in the dark, but thankfully we made it in one piece and were able to regain civilisation, and make it in one piece home.
