Today we woke up at 4:30 and got ready, grabbed our luggage and went downstairs to meet our taxi so that we could go to the airport. After a 30 minute drive we made it to the airport, where we were only 2 hours early, and the aiport was already quite packed. Thnkfully we managed to do everything we needed to do in time, from checking in, to security and customs but most importantly picking up ji’s last minute midnight duty free purchase.
Once on board we sat down in our seats and enjoyed our first meal, bulgogi and miso soup which was quite good considering it was plane food. We then tried to sleep for a little bit.
Our next meal was in the middle of the flight where we had some beef with rice, before trying to get more sleep. Finally we arrived in london 10 minutes ezrly and were able to make it off our plane with no issues, getting out through border control, baggage reclaim and customs with no complications.
We got on the tube and headed home to drop all our luggage before picking up Hazel from Jerry’s and going to the park to try and stay awake as long as possible.
