Day 6 today we woke up early from the rainforest to get ready and have breakfast before going to the bus station to take our bus to banos our next stop, to get to the bus station we had to fit 10 people on the back of a truck with a sort of little tent to cover us from the rain, but as the rain got harder and harder it kept going through and at one point one of the flaps fell out and I had to catch it to put it back in its place to stay dryish. When we arrived at the bus station we created a chain under the rain to transfer our bags to dryness, before climbing on the bus.
When we arrived in Baños we went to our room in the hotel to drop off our stuff before going to a local restaurant where I ate chicken, and to visit the city
In the afternoon we had a meeting with a sports agency to see what we could do the next day and decided on the many activities we are going to do! When the meeting was over we went to the local hot springs with pools at 38 degrees and 42 and tried to get into the pool at 42 since there was less people in it, but physically couldn’t because it was too hot, so we settled for the overcrowded 38 degree pool, and would go out to take cold showers under a small waterfall before going back in.
We finally finished the day with a pizza in a local restaurant before going back to our hotel rooms to pass out!
