Today we had a long journey ahead of us, through the hilly mountains of laos, even though the distance was not very far, only about 300km it took us 8hr of driving on bad and hilly roads to reach our destination, Luang Prabang. We stopped quickly for some noodles in the middle but focused on making time so we could arrive in time in Luang Prabang.
When we arrive in Luang Prabang, we walked around the city for a bit, and climbed the hill at the centre of the city to visit a temple at the top, where we were able to watch the beautiful sunset over the valley below.
Next we came down and walked around the night market for a bit before going to the food market, where we got to try lots of different local Laos food, we got delicious noodle soup, Passion fruit juice, chicken skewers and some great coconut pancakes.
