Today luckily, we got a chance to sleep in a little bit more before going down to breakfast. We then packed our stuff and once we were ready brought it down into reception.
For lunch our bus stopped at a local initiative who try to protect the environment. There we were offered tea and got to hear about the initiative does before getting a really good lunch prepared by them, made up of chicken tomato sauce type dish, chicken and some bread.
After getting back on the road we got to our hotel and dropped off stuff finally I got a double bed! We then went downstairs where we met Monty so he could show us a local painter’s gallery, however when we got there the art was a little bit too abstract for my liking, so I didn’t end up buying anything.
Instead of going back to the hotel we decided to go to the city centre and buy a few souvenirs. I ended up buying a painting of Petra at night and I managed to negotiate down the price from 16 down to 10 with a fridge magnet. We then continued walking and decided to go to rainbow Street to get ice cream before heading back to the hotel.
