Day 28 – Ziplining

16th March 2022

Today in the morning we decided to go do some Ziplining, so we went to the nearest ziplining place where after a briefing we started the adventure course. the course took us through some small hanging bridges and zip lines where we had to jump up on the cables to help the attendants attach us securely. after a few of the smaller ziplines, we finally reached the good ziplines, which were laid out in the middle of a valley. after the first zip line where we were still sitting in our harnesses, they offered us the ability to go in the superman pose, which I took. So they strapped my harness backwards and attached me laying down under the cable before sending me off, flying 1500 meters, 200 meters above the valley floor. the ride was amazing but the landing was quite tough almost like getting punched in the chest, due to how fast we had been crossing the canyon.

Next we were given the oportunity to do a tarzan swing from 60 meters high, where we had to walk on a dodgy metal platform before we could jump.

After all this adrenaline we went into the city to walk around and do some souvenir shopping, and get some lunch. after lunch, we followed our guide to a nearby ficus tree (a tree that had grown around another before killing it) located in the forest that we should have been able to climb, but when we got there it was fenced off so we asked the locals for another and they pointed us in the direction of one that was hanging accross a small valley we could climb across and explore.

For dinner we tried some local food, and i ordered some rice and chicken dish which came out maxi sized too much for one human being to eat alone.
