Today after one last breakfast with our family, this time we a type of stuffed cheese crepe, we started our way from Coope San Juan to San jose. However on the way we stopped to do another activity, rafting down a river with 2-3 level rapids.
When we got to the starting point, they told gave us a little briefing before making us hop into our raft and letting us barrel down the river. The rapids weren’t too crazy so we were able to handle them, even taking some of them backwards. after about an hour of rafting, we stopped by the side of the river at a spot where we could jump in the water and take a break to eat some fruits. We even saw another sloth just chilling by a tree right next to where our boat was parked.
After this break we continued for about an hour, getting sunbunrns as we reached the end of the river, where lunch was waiting for us, another traditional costa rican meal, the casado.
After the activity was over we drove another 2 hours to San jose, where we met up with the rest of the people that hadn’t gone rafting and went to dinner with them to say goodbye to everyone that would be leaving.
